Please Pray!

I am sure this will be very unorganized and rambling but so much is going through my mind I am just going to type and let it flow............

Jeff and I decided early on to tell everyone we knew that we were adopting for a couple of reasons 1. it will never be a secret to our baby that they were an incredible gift from God and their birthmother 2. you never know where you will find your baby.

We have received some information in the last 24 hours that has renewed our spirits! A friend of a friend has a son that has a baby or possibly babies on the way with his girlfriend. From what I understand they are looking strongly at placing the babies to be parented through adoption. I talked with the Grandfather this morning and gave him some information about me and Jeff and why we were adopting and let him know that we are very interested in the babies. I say babies because the information that I have indicates that the mother is either pregnant with twins or this is a tubal pregnancy (evidently she has high levels of hormones and that is the indicator). Those of you that know me know that I have been praying for twins so to say that my heart is full and excited is an understatement! Could this be the answer to our prayers?

It is strange how things happen. We got the information about this couple at church last night and come to find out I work with the Grandfather. It is a small world!

At this point I am cautiously excited! It is so hard to get your hopes up and then nothing transpire. But let me just say, we will talk to people everyday and talk to anyone that is a possible birthmother until God sends us the right baby.

I am writing this post to ask that you PRAY!

Pray for several things in this case:
1. Pray for this mother and father
2. Pray for their families
3. Pray for the unborn baby or babies
4. Pray for me and Jeff
5. Pray for strength and guidance for us all

No matter the outcome we want what is best for this young couple. God will lead us if we continue to ask him! We will know if this is the right situation for us! Pray for the couple and their families as they face a very hard challenge no matter what decisions are made. Pray that Jeff and I will be strong and will be accepting of God guidance.

I know you will hear from me again but until then, Merry Christmas!

  1. You know I am always praying for you guys and this time will be no different! Keep me posted and keep your faith! God has your child/children, and in His perfect timing, you will get them!!! Until then, we will keep praying for them, for you, and for the countless people that we come in contact with that are struggling with decisions!

    I love you guys!!!
