Our weekend with Family and Friends.

This past weekend we had a time of fun with friends and family!

Saturday night we went to Christmas dinner with Jeff's family. I don't know how but we forgot the camera and I always have a camera! Anyway we did not get any pictures of that!

Later that night we met our friends Jim & Stacey and Ed. We had a great time bowling but the pregnant woman beat me in both of the games we bowled. Jeff, Jim, Ed, and Olivia bowled a third game but Stacey and I sat out and talked while they finished up!

Sunday we over slept (I sat the alarm for 7:45 PM instead of AM) so we did not make church service. And Sunday night there was not a service at our church due to the holiday weekend so we missed out all the way around Sunday. I am looking forward to tomorrow night even more now!

Sunday night Ed came over where we all enjoyed Jeff's new toy her got for Christmas - Rock Band2! What was I thinking? I went to bed but the band played strong until 11:30pm. Oh my! They are not ready for the road! But they had fun so I guess that is all that matters unless you just happen to be our poor dogs or the neighbors!

My parents and Ed ate dinner with us so that was fun! Also Sunday night we had unexpected guest. My Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin from Alabama were in town and dropped by with my Aunt Patsy to see us. I have not seen them in several years, in fact they had not met Jeff and Olivia yet. I enjoyed catching up with them! My cousin gave me some great pointers regarding car seat safety - she is a certified car seat inspector (I am sure that is not the official title but that is the best way to put it that I know of). She also works in the NICU in the Tupelo hospital so her advice is always welcome. Anyway, it was great to get to visit with them for a short time!

My moms family from out of town will be here this week but I will write more about that next week! It is sure to be a great time! My Mom's family are all outgoing and boisterous. Lots of fun and laughs! My Dad's family tends to be a little more reserved so my Mom and Dad (like me and Jeff) make a great pair with opposite personalities!

Continue to pray about our potential birth mother match. I have spoken to the family again and they will be getting together to discuss their options New Years day! Pray for them and pray for God's guidance for them all. Continue to pray for me and Jeff! We are so anxious but we are praying for the best for all of us!

Thank you for all your support! It is invaluable!
